Last night was a great night for country music and the UMG Nashville Team at the Billboard Music Awards! Alan Jackson took home the award for Top Christian Album with his gospel album, Precious Memories Volume II, a follow up to Jackson’s 2006 Precious Memories. The collection of traditional hymns has proven to be a fan favorite, as it remains in the Top 50 on Billboards weekly Top Country Albums chart since its release over a year ago. Our own Luke Bryan was named Top Country Artist, and also received the Top Country Album award for Crash My Party, selling over 1.8 Million copies since its release.
