EMI Records Nashville’s Eric Paslay (pass-lay) earns No. 1 most added song at Country radio this week with the release of his new single “She Don’t Love You”. The single was co-written by Paslay and Jen Wayne. The original inspiration was to write a song for George Strait for his Cowboy Rides Away Tour. The end result was a ballad with a timeless and classic sound that Eric was able to keep and record for his debut album. “She Don’t Love You” is the third single from Eric’s self-titled album debut which also includes the No. 1 “Friday Night” and Top 15 “Song About A Girl.”
“I can’t thank Country radio enough for being supportive of this single as well as my career so far,” shares Eric. “I am so proud of this special song that I believe can heal both sides of a broken heart.”
Paslay has celebrated five No. 1 singles as a songwriter including “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” (Eli Young Band), “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” (Jake Owen), “Angel Eyes” (Love & Theft), “Rewind” (Rascal Flatts) and “Friday Night” which was his first single from his self-titled debut album. The Texas native has made appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America, Fox & Friends and The Queen Latifah Show as well as touring with Brantley Gilbert and the Eli Young Band over the last year. Paslay has been nominated for a GRAMMY, ACM and CMA award for his songwriting on “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.”
