NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 13, 2023) – UMG Nashville’s inaugural Music Is Universal event at downtown Nashville’s Skydeck on Broadway brought thousands of fans from all over the world to see over 20 artist performances, fan club parties, meet & greets, listening events, DJs, line dancing and more over the four-day free event June 8-11, 2023.
Day Four of Music Is Universal saw a Universal Music Publishing Group writers round including Adam James (Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band), Allison Veltz Cruz (Matt Stell, Tenille Arts, Maddie & Tae), Dillon James (songwriter artist), and Catie Offerman (songwriter artist), performances by rising stars Dalton Dover and Jon Langston, and a surprise drop in by Luke Bryan to celebrate Langston’s “All Eyes On Us” earning RIAA Gold.
Reaching capacity crowds multiple times across the weekend, Music Is Universal featured some of country music’s biggest artists and rising stars. Spanning the rosters of UMG Nashville, UMPG, and UMe, artists included Kassi Ashton, Priscilla Block, Jordan Davis, Travis Denning, Dalton Dover, Luke Grimes, Caylee Hammack, Dillon James, Jon Langston, Kylie Morgan, Catie Offerman, Josh Ross, Sam Williams, Mark Wills, Anne Wilson, Boy Named Banjo, Brothers Osborne, Maddie & Tae, plus guest artists David Morris, and VAVO, comedian Danae Hays, and songwriters Allison Veltz Cruz, Adam James.
