Little Big Town Experiences 2015’s Best One Week Sales of a Country Track with “Girl Crush”


Little Big Town
took home the Vocal Group of the Year trophy at Sunday night’s 50th Academy of Country Music Awards.  The talented foursome also delivered one of Billboard’s and Rolling Stone’s top performances of the night with their current Top 20 single, “Girl Crush.”

Little Big Town impressed the Guinness World Records-breaking audience at AT&T Stadium and at-home viewers alike, with the “Girl Crush” performance being the most Shazamed moment of the entire three and a half hour broadcast.

“Girl Crush,” off the group’s ACM-nominated Album of the Year, Pain Killer (Capitol Records), also experienced a sales spike following the compelling performance seeing sales top 30,000 tracks the day of the ACM Awards.  Combined with the days leading into the awards, Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” has the best one week sales for a country track for all of 2015 with over 97,000.  Overall sales of “Girl Crush” have surpassed gold qualification with over 520,000.
