Mercury Nashville / 19 / Interscope Records artist Lauren Alaina returned to the Grand Ole Opry stage Saturday night in her first public performance since undergoing vocal cord surgery in August.  The Georgia native introduced two new songs, “Doing Fine” and “Breathe Again,” to the Opry audience.

Alaina shares, “There’s nowhere I’d rather make my first appearance back from vocal cord surgery than the Grand Ole Opry.  Being able to sing again on that stage is the highlight of my year.”

Alaina is currently in the studio working on the follow-up album to her Billboard 200 Top 5 debut, Wildflower, featuring the fan-favorite tune, “Georgia Peaches.”
