Turner to Perform New Song on TODAY on Monday, August 19
Video for “Two Steppin’ On The Moon” Debuts With CMT
(Nashville, TN, August 16, 2024) MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner released his 10th studio album today, This Country Music Thing. Produced by Kenny Greenberg, Turner wrote or co-wrote three of the eleven tracks on the album. Also today, the video for the song “Two Steppin’ On The Moon” made its broadcast premiere on CMT, CMT Music, CMT Equal Play and the Paramount Times Square Billboard. Turner will also perform the song on TODAY at 9 am on Monday, August 19.

Turner had a vision for the “Two Steppin’ On The Moon” video when he was recording the song and developed the concept with long-time friend/producer, Peter Zavadil. It features several of Turner’s friends, all of whom have recorded songs featuring a moon including Randy Travis (“Honky Tonk Moon”); The Gatlin Brothers (“Talkin’ To The Moon”); John Anderson (“Mississippi Moon”); Marty Raybon of Shenandoah (“The Moon Over Georgia”); as well as Mark Narmore (writer of “The Moon Over Georgia”) and long-time producer Kenny Greenberg.

About Josh Turner
With timeless songs like “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” Turner’s five No. 1 singles include “Your Man,” of which the official music video surpassed 208 million views. To date, Turner has 5.2B release to date global streams. His album Long Black Train debuted 21 years ago and was certified Platinum by the RIAA with nearly 1.5M album sales, 1.4M track downloads and over 294.3M life-to-date streams. The lead single of the same name was also certified Platinum making up over 1.1M track downloads and over 242.2M global streams.
