NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 11, 2024) – “Every time I drink I cause an effect — she took everything that I love when she left… me with this bottle in my hand.” Singer/songwriter/producer Hueston’s poignant new offering, “Bottle In My Hand” (available today), finds the South-Florida native teaming up with producer and frequent collaborator BSAMZ to tell the story of a man drowning in regret after losing the love of his life to his struggle with alcohol addiction.
Written by Hueston, Brandon Sammons, and Matt Ferranti, “Bottle In My Hand” is the soulful, evocative artist’s fourth release with UMG Nashville’s Silver Wings Records, following “Still Alive & Kickin’,” “Every Time Is The Last Time” and “Living Fast.”
“This track is like a midnight ride down a long, empty highway — just you, the hum of the engine, and your thoughts running wild. It’s that raw, gritty sound straight out of the studio, where the vibes are thick and the echoes of a faded love hang heavy in the air. It’s about those late nights when you’re left with nothing but the beat pulsing through the speakers and a glass that’s always half-empty,” says Hueston. “For anyone who’s ever found truth in the bottom of a bottle or solace in a smoky bar, this song hits hard. It’s stripped down, honest, and as real as it gets, capturing that rockstar energy of facing the music when everyone else has called it a night.”
Hueston’s star continues to rise as a live performer following last weekend’s Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, MD, and powerful appearances during Nashville’s CMA Fest, Country Jam in Grand Junction, CO, Harley-Davidson Homecoming in Milwaukee, WI, Michigan’s Tailgate N’ Tallboys, and Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond this summer.
As his live audiences grow and his TikTok and YouTube views and streams soar into the millions, he continues to write and record. Fans can keep up with Hueston at iamhueston.com.
About Hueston:
Cory Hueston previously gained recognition as the front man of indie/alternative duo, The Blancos, but felt a call pulling him in a different direction. Now, via his own label Young Hueston, LLC and distribution by Silver Wings Records, he shares his emotional storytelling, skilled guitar, and soul-stirring vocals as solo artist, Hueston. His music translates easily to audience interpretation while still speaking directly to Hueston’s own professional and personal journeys overcoming depression and addictions, and turning over a new chapter in life. Hueston’s music is a direct reflection of his emotion – sometimes dark, sometimes provocative, and always soulful.
