Buena Vista Records’ CB30 released their newest song “Old Phone” today. Penned by Nick Boyd, Ben Williams and Colin Healy, the song paints a picture of a young man reminiscing over a recent breakup after stumbling upon photos and voicemails on an old phone from the past. The lyrics, When you hung up the phone, you were crying in your mama’s house / You said you didn’t wanna be done but we just weren’t right or working out right now / Ever since that conversation, we went our separate ways and I don’t know where you are, we’re worlds apart / But I’m holding you close using an old phone, emphasize the rush of emotion after seeing the memories they shared. Earlier this year, CB30 released two new singles titled “Healthy” and “Learning Curves.” The duo performed “Learning Curves” on KTLA in August and released their official music video of “Healthy.”

 

About CB30:

CB30, comprised of real-life brothers Christian and Brody Clementi, grew up in Nashville surrounded by music from a young age. After playing some local charity events with their father Jay Clementi, a successful songwriter, they caught the attention of country superstar Luke Bryan who introduced them to various industry contacts leading to a record deal with Buena Vista Records, a partnership between Disney Music Group and Universal Music Group Nashville. The name CB30 comes from Christian and Brody’s first initials as well as the fact they were both born on the 30th of the month, Christian’s birthday is May 30th while Brody’s is March 30th. Their young, fresh sound is built on harmony-driven country melodies with influences ranging from The Everly Brothers to Ed Sheeran. In between football and baseball games, you can often find Christian and Brody on the lake fishing and wakeboarding. CB30 have previously opened for Luke Bryan on a number of stadium dates and made their debut at the famed Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, Calif. The boys visited New York with appearances on Barstool Sports, Music Choice, and TigerBeat. The duo found early success on the popular social media platform, TikTok, garnering tens of millions of views and over 2.6 million followers, making them one of the most followed country artists on the platform. Last year, CB30 performed as part of Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home live stream concert in partnership the World Health Organization. CB30 previously released a new version of their song, “We Are Right Now,” remixed by NYC-based producers, Black Caviar.
