Headlining Neon Does Tour Wraps Tomorrow Night in
Louisville, Kentucky as Leatherwood Gears Up for CMA Fest
(NASHVILLE, TN – May 10, 2024) – When Republic Records / Mercury Nashville recording artist Bryce Leatherwood sat down with Lynn Hutton and Chris Dubois to write “The One My Daddy Found,” his parents’ 25-year love story was at the forefront of the song’s inspiration. It was only fitting that the song, devoted to his parents and all of the qualities from their relationship he aspires to in his own life, would transform into his first official music video, available everywhere now.

With a release timed to Mother’s Day, “The One My Daddy Found” music video was directed by Lewis Cater and captures the timelessness of lasting love, chronicling the story of a young couple falling in love and growing old together.
Speaking exclusively with People Leatherwood shared, “The music video for ‘The One My Daddy Found’ was based around the idea of lasting relationships. My inspiration was my mom and dad and I’m very lucky that they’re still together. Everyone wants a love that lasts and that was the vision for my first music video. I hope y’all enjoy and hug your momma.”
“The One My Daddy Found” is Leatherwood’s latest release as he continues to tease new music to come. Leatherwood was most recently featured in Boot Barn’s 2024 spring campaign Taking Flight, a highlight on up-and-coming country musicians. Leatherwood was also named a 2024 Artist to Watch by Music Mayhem and Country Now earlier this year.
Leatherwood will conclude his first-ever headlining tour, The Neon Does Tour, tomorrow in Louisville, Kentucky. The tour took him to 11 cities, including Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbus, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois and more. This summer, Leatherwood will make his CMA Fest debut, performing June 9 on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage.

Bryce was born and raised in Woodstock, GA, and his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Bryce was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter, Bryce began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that still inspires him today. Bryce’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Bryce played college venues and continued to hone his stage presence and his country music repertoire. In late 2021 while still enrolled in college, Bryce formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Bryce’s goal was to take the stage and play the best of country music to all ages and audiences. After graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. In 2022, he competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December of 2022. Following his success on “The Voice,” Bryce signed with Republic Records / Universal Music Group Nashville and is currently hard at work on new music.
