NASHVILLE, Tenn. –  PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson captivated her sold-out hometown crowd Wednesday night (6/12) at the Lexington Opera House in Lexington, Ky.. Known for her “vocal masterclass” (Holler), the Lexington, Ky. “Country prodigy” (Holler) delivered an unforgettable performance of all 16 tracks from her new album REBEL (4/19), supported by a full band led by Chris Wrate.

Putting her “faith-rooted Country sound” (Billboard) on full display, Wilson, who “hits the bullseye between contemporary Christian and Country twang” (GRAMMY.com), performed her genre-fused project of both Christian and Country tracks. The evening included memorable surprises, such as a duet with 5x GRAMMY-nominated Christian artist and co-writer Matthew West on “3:16” and a touching performance of “My Father’s Daughter,” joined by Wilson’s father, Kent Wilson, with co-producer and writer Jeff Pardo on the keys. The concert held special significance for Wilson, who grew up dancing ballet at the same venue. Combining much-needed encouragement, vulnerability and transparency into a perfect balance that footholds the space between the dead-end road paved in dirt and the church pew of redemption on Sunday morning, the Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith-produced record emerges as a powerful message of faith. Highlighted on the album is fan-favorite “Songs About Whiskey,” accompanied by an all-new music video, that finds Wilson unashamedly walking the line of her strong faith and Country roots. Collaborations with some of Christian and Country music’s biggest names bolster the record, enlisting reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson for “Praying Woman,” GRAMMY-Award winner Chris Tomlin for “The Cross” and Country superstar Jordan Davis for “Country Gold.”
