No.1 Hit “Take It From Me” Certified Gold

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – MCA Nashville’s hot newcomer Jordan Davis received his first nomination for the CMT Music Awards in the Breakthrough Video of the Year category this morning. Jordan is on a hot streak having just won Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March and recently notching his second No.1 at country radio for the infectious “Take It From Me” which has been certified Gold by the RIAA. The singer/songwriter was surprised with a plaque commemorating the achievement by UMGN President Cindy Mabe before playing to a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheatre Friday night.

Last month, Jordan released his new single “Slow Dance In A Parking Lot” (listen HERE) which was No.1 most added at country radio and continues to receive rave reviews from critics and fans alike. The nostalgic tune is featured on the Louisiana native’s debut album Home State along with “Take It From Me” and Jordan’s Platinum No.1 smash hit “Singles You Up”.

Jordan is currently on the road with Old Dominion as part of the “Make It Sweet Tour” with upcoming stops in Dubuque, IA, Rockford, IL and New York, NY. He will next join Rascal Flatts on the “Summer Playlist Tour” starting this June. For a full list of tour dates, news, images and more, visit www.jordandavisofficial.com
