“Almost Gone” details what happens when “she ain’t said goodbye, but I ain’t heard ‘I love you’ in a minute.” With Mason and Adcock’s easy-going drawls and whistling that’s jaunty and a bit blue, the two shrug off heartbreak the only way they know how: by knocking a couple of drinks down.
“We definitely have a different style but we found common ground on this song,” Mason shares. “He really is such talented writer and singer and after being on tour all year, it was a no brainer to record a song together.”
While they are both rapidly growing artists, and known for their extroverted stage presence, the emotional vulnerability and lyrical sincerity of this song are what set this song apart. The two’s voices blend brilliantly on top of the melodic and dulcet tune, allowing their true talent to shine. With lessons of loving, letting go, and everything in between, “Almost Gone” tells an old story in a new and more accepting way.
Adding this new song to his discography, Vincent continues to validate why people say he’s “on a path to become one of the genre’s most promising new voices” (Entertainment Focus).
He will finish up the tour leg of Gavin Adcock’s Tour next month and then adding to his touring route, he will also appear on Riley Green’s “Damn Country Music Tour” in 2025.
