(NASHVILLE, Tenn. – September 13, 2024) – Capitol Nashville recording artist and rising country star Timothy Wayne releases a new track today, “Guy With A Guitar.” The song, which Wayne says mirrors his life, was written by Ben Hayslip, Lindsay Rimes and Matt Rogers and produced by Byron Gallimore and Tim McGraw.

“When I heard this song for the first time, I instantly wanted to cut it,” says Wayne. “Though I started playing guitar late in my teen years it is something that I love and work at daily. When I first got to college all I had was my guitar and even though it was probably annoying, I always played in the stairwell of my dorm. Now whenever I go anywhere people always ask if I brought my guitar. So, now I am the guy with the guitar.”

Timothy Wayne, a rising country artist from Franklin, Tennessee, grew up surrounded by music in his home, which nurtured his profound love for country music. Influenced by a spectrum of country legends, from the traditional sounds of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers and Tom T.
